Description:
The Service Order Technician will focus on facilities maintenance workflow control duties to provide mission critical production support necessary to keep performance data in the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) current. Will staff the facilities maintenance call center desk to receive and submit Demand Maintenance Order (DMO) requests. Will translate maintenance requests into technical language that service technicians require. Using a substantive knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures, will assign a priority and determine the appropriate codes to appropriately classify DMOs in GFEBS. Will use knowledge of priority system approval authorities, and other technical Standard Operating Procedures to assign classification codes. Will verify facility codes, shop and skill codes, task codes, and technical data activity codes. Will provide DMO status to customers as required.

Office automation and quick learning of new technologies is critical to the work of the position. Must display proficiency in cross-training with Warehouse Operations Technician duties including creation of supply purchase requests in GFEBS, coordinating purchase requests, and issuing/receiving maintenance supplies for the facilities maintenance warehouse. Position reports to the Areli onsite Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Five or more years of public works, utilities maintenance, or facilities maintenance work reception experience. Must exercise knowledge of facilities maintenance shop operations and trades in order to communicate DMOs by cellular phone to ensure that work is assigned in the most efficient manner as prescribed in an SOP. Professional customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Experience with using GFEBS required. Candidate must speak, read, and write in the English language, be a US citizen, and is required to pass and maintain a National Agency Check Investigation.

Description:
The Warehouse Operations Technician (WOT) will focus on facilities maintenance workflow control duties to provide mission critical support by performing facilities maintenance supply warehouse logistics and data entry support necessary to keep related data in the government’s General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) up to date. The WOT duties include: Performing daily warehouse inventory control and QA/QC of supply chain procedures within GFEBS and the inventory control system.
  •   Coordinating with facilities maintenance call center staff to assist with creation and processing of maintenance and supply requests.
  •   Coordinating with facilities maintenance shop staff on their needs by processing incoming and outgoing supplies including reception, unpacking, confirm quantities match invoice, filling supply orders, and appropriately stocking in the warehouse per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  •   Providing recommendations to ensure effective and efficient operation of the facilities maintenance supply warehouse. Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores materials.
  •   Coordinating efforts with Areli onsite Supervisor to ensure they are within scope of the contract.

At times, the WOT will also staff the facilities maintenance call center desk to receive and submit Demand Maintenance Order (DMO) requests.

Qualifications:
Three or more years of facilities maintenance warehouse inventory control experience. Experience with public works, utilities maintenance, or facilities maintenance work reception experience is preferred. Professional customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights up to 75lbs is required. Proficiency with warehouse management, logistics, and supply movement software preferred. Experience with using General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) required. Must obtain and maintain certification to operate a forklift. Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language. Candidate must be a US citizen and is required to pass a National Agency Check Investigation.
